Abstract
:
This paper is concerned with estimating the factors determines housing rent in the city of Jeddah , Saudi Arabia . For this purpose , a survey was conducted to obtain the required information households in Jeddah . Using a multiple regression , a hedonic model for dwelling rents was conducted. The coefficient estimates are consistent with previous studies . The empirical result show that the most significant variables in determining the dwelling rents in the city of Jeddah are the number of bedrooms, the number of family, and the distance to school . The rent of the variable included in the model, even though the majority have expected sign , are insignificant.
