During the Hajj and Umrah Conference and Exhibition, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and King Abdulaziz University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance strategic cooperation in serving pilgrims and advancing both academic and institutional excellence.

The agreement was signed by Eng. Anas Alhumaid, Assistant Deputy Minister for Communication, on behalf of the Ministry, and by Prof. Mohammed Reda Kabli, Vice President for Educational Affairs, representing the University.

The MoU aims to foster knowledge exchange and leverage the University’s academic and technical expertise to support innovation and service delivery within the Hajj and Umrah sector.

Key Areas of Collaboration Include:

            •           Developing and delivering customized training programs for Ministry personnel.

            •           Providing hands-on training placements for university students across relevant Ministry sectors.

            •           Offering academic and technical consultancy for curriculum development, digital transformation, and innovation incubation.

            •           Conducting joint research and field studies aligned with the Ministry’s strategic goals.

            •           Delivering end-to-end language services, including written translation, audiovisual interpretation, and multilingual content production.

            •           Supporting official event interpretation and early-stage innovation testing environments.

            •           Launching joint cultural programs for Chinese pilgrims to promote mutual understanding and cross-cultural exchange between Saudi Arabia and China.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to innovation, service excellence, and cultural engagement, aligning with the broader objectives of Saudi Arabia’s national vision.
